Dicipleship Program

Vision Statement:

We are committed to facilitating lasting change in the lives of Christians who are equally committed to living a life of peace through Jesus Christ.

Mission Statement:

To profoundly impact our modern church and society by empowering today’s individuals through an intensive program of discipleship and re-parenting. Helping people who are seeking positive change in their lives through the foundation of Jesus Christ.

New Foundations is a complimentary ministry to the local church. It moves beyond the traditional concepts of family empowerment. Seeking to revive or bring for the first time, love, order, discipline, vision, unity and purpose into the lives of families and individuals.

Profile:

New Foundations is a 15-24 month discipleship / re-parenting program that facilitates lasting change by revisiting fundamental stages of life, through mentorship. During the time a person is in the program they go through five levels of discipleship (whose titles reflect the biblical names for Christian growth) that mimic the stages of life from infancy to young adulthood so they can learn coping mechanisms that they didn’t learn in their childhood.

The Five Levels of Discipleship are:

  • Seeker Level – Lasts from 7 to 30 days; participants are monitored closely and they are assigned a person at a higher level as an accountability partner.
  • Convert Level – Last 3 to 4 months; participant makes covenant the ministry to finish the program; has some freedoms but is still closely monitored and works on campus.
  • Novice Level – Lasts 3 to 4 months; participants focus on overcoming sin and generational curses; has more freedom than previous level and has some authority over participants in lower levels.
  • Brother Level – Lasts 3 to 4 months; participants focus on taking responsibility and assist participants at higher levels and the leaders over them. As their responsibility increases their freedoms increases, too.
  • Deacon Level – Lasts 3 to 4 months; participants directly assist the staff and have minimal oversight of their personal behavior. They have great levels of freedom as they prepare to leave the program and enter back into everyday life.

The goal of New Foundations is to send people from our program into our churches and society as happy, healthy and productive members of their families, churches and workplaces.
